In my art dump a while ago you might have remembered seeing a species like this (a girl with bright red tentacles and an actual octopus on her head) The idea for this kind of OC has been floating around in my head for all that time. I doodled the girl on a paper in my assignment book (which you can see if you put your mouse in the upper right hand corner) and decided "Why not draw her in Vector?" So I did. I actually haven't used vector in a while, and was pleasantly surprised to see that many of the things I knew about faces and such carried over (like lips and eyebrows.. :P) And so here she is! I'm still thinking about what to name her. The girl who was red (in the art dump) I named Contessa after a painting I saw in the Monterey Bay Aquarium titled "Contessa and the Squid" (search it up, it looks really weird :P) If you would like to suggest a name in the comments, please do! Oh, and I suppose I was inspired by Ursula in The Little Mermaid as well :) Maybe you'll be seeing some more artwork of this cute little girl done in MediBang Paint :) Thanks for reading!
