[~NOTES~] "Dear Demon" is the second short letter in the "Letter" series. The first is "Dear Depression," which can be read here: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/87438129/ The third (and possibly final) part of the series is under the working title, "Dear Time." It will be written in a similar formatting to the first two, and the target date for publication on Scratch will be mid 2017. **UPDATE: "Dear Time" will only be the third one. The fourth one is planned but is yet to have a title. I never properly thought about making my very old story, "Dear Depression," as only part of a series rather than a stand-alone story until a few days ago, and I'm very happy that I decided to make the "Letter" series a real thing. Part of the reason I put this up for Christmas and not just some random day is that it revolves around the theme of forgiveness. For a long time, I blamed my faults on other people, which I shouldn't have done. Christmas, when taken into Christian perspective, is a holiday celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ. I'm not trying to convert anyone here or force my religion onto you, but Christmas is a time of gift-giving; in Christianity, the gift was (and still is) Jesus. According to Christian belief, he eventually dies as a payment for the sins we have done, allowing us to go to heaven if we believe in him -- an act of forgiveness in sacrifice. Of course, his birth would only be start of the story, like 'Dear Demon' is my way of recovering from this whole stage of wanting revenge. And like Jesus' sacrifice of dying on the cross, mine will be to stop vent writing for just myself. And to start writing for you. "P.S. Take control. Aren't we our own demons...?"
