This project was inspired by a vacuum-cleaner robot called Trilobite (trilobite.electrolux.com). The Scratch version tries to find its way across the floor to clean the house. It steers left, steers right, opens the door, cleans the carpet, and scares away the cat. INSTRUCTIONS Click the Green Flag, sit back, and relax. Watch Trilobite clean your house! MORE IDEAS * In the default starting position, Trilobite finds an optimal route across the floor. Put it at another starting location and watch which route it takes! * Add remote control, by programming actions when a key is pressed. For example: Rotate Trilobite when the arrow keys are pressed. * Rearrange the furniture, and add some objects. (Be sure to surround objects with a white border. Otherwise Trilobite just rides over it.)
