Here I am trying to make a "Build-A-Band" project that imitates the "Rhythm" experiment in the Chrome Music Lab. https://musiclab.chromeexperiments.com/Rhythm It is a demonstration project to help my 2nd/3rd grade students as they work on the Build-A-Band project. It is still a work in progress. Any feedback would be appreciated! Instructions: 1. Hit green flag to reset. 2. Click to toggle between instrument on and instrument off. (Gray dot or colored icon.) 3. Use green/red on-off switch to PLAY and STOP. your musical creation.
https://musiclab.chromeexperiments.com/Rhythm Current list of improvements needed/problems to be fixed: 1. If you stop and restart without pressing the green flag, the gray bar will glide more and more slowly (because 3 second glide covers less and less distance). So could try to create some type of formula that would change the time of the glide to a chunk of the 3 seconds that is proportional to the remaining distance to travel. 2. Need a different combination of instruments that is more pleasing to the ear.
