I got this idea from meyhem's robot contest, but this one is different because it's shooting instead of touching, and the rules are a bit stricter to be mroe fair. Don't say "OMG this is exactly the same as the other contest" because it's NOT, shooting makes a huuuuuuuuuge difference, and changes rules and stuff (though it is too bad you can't "remix" an idea) This is a robot programming contest, to see who can program the best robot. Remix to program your own robot to battle this one, or someone else's, but look at the rules for the robots in the "Rules" sprite as this robot was made 1: as an example, and 2: to go against a target that doesn't shoot back, this robot isn't going to do too well in the contest (unless there are few entries), but I will still participate if there are around 10 entries The best robot so far is..... http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/floppy_gunk/1299563 it's a pretty good bot, not quite sure why it teleports, but I'll check it out if it stays unbeaten for a while. If you can't beat that one, try to beat this one! the more entries the better! (soon I will start posting the top 3 bots) Recent news: I pitted "rainbowbot" and "ultrabot" together and... I'm going to say that ultrabot wins, because they got stuck in a corner, but it was less stuck and kept getting points... other than that, by chance rainbowbot scored a hit. Based on this, if you want to do good, I suggest making your robot kind of spazz out, but just focus on hitting the other robot, possibly making a sophisticated AI to figure out how the other robot dodges yours on average
