The two cats I have here are Tyrantborn and Soulpaw. Tyrantborn is however a medicine cat. His mother is the deputy of the clan, and he had three other siblings, but Soulpaw caught his eye. Soulpaw is the daughter of the leader of the clan. She also has siblings, but quite a few more than Tyrantborn. When she was a kit, she was intrigued by Tyrantborn. When she was born, he was just a medicine cat apprentice, but when she turned into a apprentice, he got his full name. Distracted by his every move, she watched as he took care of her sister Bluepaw after a battle. Her sister had lost one eye, but he was gentle and kind with her despite being called a rouge. His mother's parents were kittypets, then rouges, then their daughter became a clan deputy! His father Swallowtail is pure clan, but they still doubt his skills. Soulpaw saw past all of the accusations, and saw the hidden cat inside. A cat that she loved deeply, and she tried to control her affections, till one night. She asked him to meet her by the river inside of the clan borders. On that night, Tyrantborn asked Soulpaw to be his secret mate, and she said yes. That one night, everything was perfect, but the next night, they had to go into battle with a rival clan. Scared and nervous out of her mind, Soulpaw rushed into the battle and took on cats larger than herself. In the thick of it, she was nearly killed, until her sister Pheasentpaw died saving Soulpaw. Outraged at the fact that she almost died, Soulpaw hid herself away from the others, always waiting, watching and worrying. One day, she came into the medicine cat den to visit Bluecrystal, who was getting her daily dose of medicine for her eye. Tyrantborn pulled her aside and told her she was going to have kits. Shocked and scared, she lied to the clan who the father was. Already in trouble, when she had her four kits, they all looked a lot like Tyrantborn. Her mother and Tyrantborn's mother soon figured it out. Instead of being angry, they told no one and supported the two cats along their journey. Their clanmates still know nothing of the two having a relationship, but they continue and foster their love together as they try to raise their four kits. *Phew* "You read all of that?
