I'm glad I've finally got this done! Now I'm going to work on UmbreonKitty's Loyalty CC next, I'm working on it already. ;) .............................................................................................. This is Squirrelkit (her warrior name is SquirrelTail), PineTail's daughter a bit after her father, SnowWhisker. Here's the story (It's really long >.<): Squirrelkit didn't understand completely what her mother meant when she said that SnowWhisker wasn't coming home. "What do you mean, he's not coming home?" Squirrelkit asked innocently cocking her head at PineTail. PineTail sighed turning away her head, then murmured, "He died in the battle... against the rouges." Squirrelkit's mouth hung open in shock, she didn't know how bad the problem with the rouges was. Apparently it was worse than she thought. Her eyes filled with tears and she whimpered unintentionally. Brightkit (her brother who's warrior name is Brightfrost) looked up at his mother with misunderstanding. "But Mom," he began, "He said he'd be okay." he paused then continued quietly, "and we were going to become apprentices soon- he- he needs to be there." A tear leaked down PineTail's face, "I know..." she whispered, looking up at the starry sky. This was too much for Squirrelkit. She ran out of camp, ignoring the calls behind her. She knew as a kit she wasn't allowed out of camp, but she had to distance herself from what had just happened. Her short legs only carried her to a grassy area a bit outside of the camp area. She collapsed on the grass. The stars reflected off her teary eyes. She recalled her father's caring words and actions. Everyday he came to check on his kits and PineTail. He had been so excited for their becoming apprentices in two days. She looked up at the sky. "SnowWhisker, I'll miss you..." she looked down at her paws. Then she felt something brush against her fur. She looked up and saw her father's familiar face. "Dad?" she asked smiling slowly. SnowWhisker nodded, "You will be a great warrior, daughter, sister, and mother- someday. Don't doubt yourself, you have great abilities you haven't even discovered yet. Don't stop believing." His voice was deep and true, like his voice was more than just his own. Squirrelkit smiled, "I won't forget Dad." she smiled, blinking away the tears. SnowWhisker grinned, "Good." he said fading away while leaping to the sky. Squirrelkit looked up at the stars, knowing everything would be okay... Star Clan would take care of her.
