Badger hopped over the fence a frog in clamped in his jaws. "Waffles!", he called setting it down. Waffles bound out of the cat door. She padded in a skipping like matter. "Hi, Badger! How many frogs have you had?", she asks taking a step back. "Only two. This one is for you.", he nudged the frog to her. Waffle mewed thanks and ate the frog while Badger joked and told her stories. "Do you want to stay over? I know you don't like kibble but we could snag some of the food off the counter.", she asked hopefully finishing her frog. "... I'll go inside but not stay the night. I got to get home and help Leopard.", he said after a moment of thought. Waffles sighed. "Okay come on.". She got up and padded to the kitty door Badger right behind her. Badger walked in crouching ready to leap at anything that tried to pick him up. Badger had scratched a twoleg and in return had been kicked out. 'Boys...', Waffles thought as her twolegs blocked the kitty door.
