Press the up arrow to jump. Press the down arrow to crouch, and enter pipes and cannons. Red buttons spring you upward if you step on them. Green buttons will only spring you up if you step on them and press space. Green buttons will only spring you up if you step on them and press and release the down arrow key. Defeat regular goombas by stomping on their heads. Defeat star goombas by stomping on their heads and holding the down arrow key. You can activate blue switches by stepping on them and holding the down arrow key.
