Keep in mind that these are my opinions, and opinions cannot be correct or incorrect <:) Jump into it now, shall we? 1. Lionblaze wasn't boring. Everyone was just too caught up in Jayfeather's chapters going into the past, Hollyleaf's struggles with the code, and Dovepaw/wing's rivalry with Ivypaw/pool so they glossed over Lionblaze and wanted to get back to those ones - which isn't a bad thing, but that doesn't make him boring 2. Redtail is intersex! To keep in child friendly, it's misunderstood that intersex people can't have kids when some can (NOT ALL - *some* can). (Also talking about born intersex people) 3. Redtail and Runningwind are Sandstorm's parents, which explains where Leafpool got her fur color (and I think eye color too) 4. Briarlight and Rowanstar are trans. The authors often called both of them the opposite gender (I specifically remember a scene where Briarlight was a kit, and Hollyleaf wanted to say something to "the young tom".) 5. Shared this one on yt, but Whitestorm is in fact Ashfur's and Ferncloud's dad, but he didn't cheat on Willowpelt. More of, Brindleface wanted to have kits, but didn't want a mate, so asked Whitestorm if he could father a litter with her and he agreed while Willowpelt was aware and accepting. 6. Hollyleaf and Fallen Leaves became mates AFTER Fallen Leaves stopped being so weird (bro was really grouchy and cowardly imo) 7. Needletail and Rain met up a lot more than they show in the books (they are also best couple, I love the trope of two genuinely awful people being disgustingly in love) 8. Whitetail and Onestar broke up after Whitetail discovered that Darktail was Onestar's son cause Onestar is probably the most awful cat ever :/ 9. Snowfur realized how awful Thistleclaw was and gave up on him completely after she died. When he asks to visit at the border, she tells him to do better and then they can talk. He never does 10. Last but not least, JAYFEATHER IS NOT A GOOD GUY. I adore Jayfeather to bits but he's not good. He's such a jerk to Alderpaw and Twigkit/paw and is only "nice" to Alderpaw when he gets his name. Again, I LOVELOVELOVE Jayfeather, but he is a giant jerk Again, don't come at me for this, these are my opinions! I honestly have WAYYY more but these are the least controversial ones lmao
