What happens to the puppies there? Well, the mothers are sometimes slaughtered because once she has puppies, there is no use for her anymore. The puppies sometimes are adopted, sometimes die of sickness, and could be euthanized. What can I do to help? Only get a puppy from an animal shelter or an experienced, trustworthy breeder.
