MOJANG is going to add Copper Armor and Tools to the game. It's supposed to be the armor that's before Iron, but Iron only takes like a few minutes to get so it seems pretty pointless. But, it takes a long time to get from Iron Armor to Diamond Armor because you need 24 diamonds to make a full set of diamond. So if they're adding Copper Armor to be in between Leather and Iron, then they should add Amethyst, as the only way to get amethyst is to find an Amethyst deposit and mine some amethyst clusters. They are easier to find in the deepslate layer, just like diamond.
