These are the infantry of Sokron. Yes, your eyes are not lying, they have hardly any gear. This is intentional due to budget concerns and since Sogran wants it to be very hard for foreign invaders to distinguish between civilians and infantry. Also due to a large youth population of literally millions of people, infantry that have fallen can be quickly replaced. However, the con is that though their large numbers may give them an advantage, they may have little or no training at all.
