He liked it there and loved to run outside and talk to him best bud Smudge. But one day he had a dream of chasing a mouse. Right when he was going to kill it, he woke up. This happened to him often but this time he had the urge to go out to the forest and catch a real one. So he went out his little cat door to his yard. There he met Smudge, and Rusty told him that he wanted to go to the forest and investigate. Maybe even catch a mouse. Smudge was horrified. He told Rusty about the vicious cats who lived in clans but Rusty was brave. He walked into the forest. He then spotted a tail, but right when he was going to pounce, a small gray cat pounced on him and they started tumbling and fighting. His name was Graypaw. When they got up, Graypaw started licking his ruffled fur. He was a bit surprised that a Kittypet (housecat) beat him. Then three other cats appeared and they introduced themselves. They asked if he wanted to join them. Rusty was surprised. He didn't want to leave his comfortable and easy life. But he decided to leave and join their "ThunderClan." He said farewell to his dear friend and went off to join the wild cats in the forest. There he became leader after many moons and was even part of an important prophecy. He is one of the best known warriors in the series and will be remembered by all. (I had to minimize it!
