There are a couple things about scratch that NEED TO CHANGE in scratch, and I'm going to rant about it. To be clear, this is mostly really petty. 1. ADD A FREAKING "BACK/LAST (whichever phrasing you prefer) COSTUME" BLOCK! This one is obvious to me, and it is so simple to make, so WHY isn't in Scratch? While you're at it, Scratch Team, you could also add a "back/last backdrop" 2. Make it so you can select the unit of time you want to wait The "wait _ seconds" is a great block, but many people go above or below a second, closer to milliseconds or minutes, so you could make the unit of time a dropdown menu. 3. An un-robot-ify button You can reverse anything you do on the audio menu, except for the "Robot" button. The only way to undo it is ctrl z, but if you close out the menu, or even go to a different sound, you have to rerecord or choose the sound again or whatever 4. Clone Variables You can already have a variable that is only for this sprite, having only for a clone could be a really helpful addition when making a variable. You might say, "But what if you want it to affect some clones and not other?" You can use an "if _ then" block and differentiate the different clones by something else 5. Change the explore page This one needs some explanation. I think that if ST picked out 16 projects (the number can be different, it's just the number of projects you can see before loading more projects) that best represent the creative things you can do here, like games, animations, art, etc, and put them there for new scratchers.
