This is the Arkship known as Boundless Horizens. it is what carried the Ulran Voyagers before they became the Ulran Voyagers. It is from a time hundreds of years ago, before us humans knew that life did in fact exist somewhere out there. It was part of the United Earth Initiative, which was a huge international effort to create starships, known as "Arkships" to voyage across the galaxy. It has no weapons, nor a main bridge. the entirety of the vessel, save the primitive thrusters (bottom) and "mouth" (top) spun around a central tube, which connected the mouth and thrusters. the mouth is there to collect the black matter, and through an arduous process, convert it to energy, which is used by the thrusters to propel the ship. now, since this was the first Terran ship capable of intergalactic travel (as Ulran is in the Golgi sector of the Andromeda galaxy), it was quite primitive.
how it works: the mouth and thrusters do not spin. but the rest of the ship does, creating a false gravity around it. this allows humans, plants, animals, etc to function properly. water, air, trash, and other wastes are recycled throughout the entire ship. the mouth gathers dark matter to convert it to energy, which runs the ship. the ship is about the size of the moon. it was cnstructed in-orbit, sing a large majority of what remained of Earth's metals. it has over 1,000 seperate farms, preserves, factories, apartments, and various other quarters to provide for the some 4 billion crew and passengers. this thing was built to be in space for hundreds of years, if not thousands.
