Just wanted to do this so we wouldn't have to later The canonical reason for the redesign in this case is that after the world was created, everyone just kinda froze for a bit (so scratch could save). Nexilis (because he isn't a scratch character per say) is unaffected, so he goes to his developer (ME!) to pass the time, and ends up giving him a redesign. He comes back to see that Scratch finished saving and the guys started talking again, and that's when this plays out.
