I finally finished a not-that-late art trade! XD Anyways, this isn't my best by far, but I'm pretty happy/proud with how it turned out. What do you guys think? All of the other apprentices have known he was different from the very start, and they made fun of him for that- what with the purple eyes, supposedly unknown heritage at the time, etc. He has always been misunderstood by his Kingdom members, because everyone always knew he was different. At heart, he wasn't one of them. So this is him being ridiculed and hurt by his supposed friends. In this piece of art, I tried to communicate a sense of being misunderstood, of being left out by anyone who could possibly care for you. Oh, but Laserleaf's fine. I lost a friend, somewhere along in the bitterness..." Yeah. Pretty deep.
