At the start of this week, Furze came to our base asking where Skylar was. We told them that Skylar was dead, and although they were clearly grief-stricken, they accepted that he was a bad cat. They came back a bit after because their leg got stuck in a broken window in a building and sliced their leg open. Shansu helped them, but as she did, Sage innocently asked if Shansu had extra bandages. Shansu said that she did and told her where they were. When Furze was healed, we were all talking when Sage came back with a bandage poorly wrapped around her leg, and purposefully limping. Tucker went to ask if she was okay, but I held my paw out so he didn't. Sage then proudly announced that if Furze had to limp around everywhere, then Sage did too. I couldn't gauge their emotions all too much because I couldn't see their eyes, but Furze's scent was almost overwhelmingly filled with happiness. Bat laughed his tail off, and Tucker thought it was adorable. I'm not too sure what to think anymore. To me, it was bittersweet, because although my daughter had a wholesome moment, I just can't take my mind off of Harbor. I can't stop blaming myself for him being turned into a zombie. I... hope it ends, soon. When we cure him, hopefully. In the meantime, Shansu has went back to the forest to one, retrieve the kits that we left there (we decided to leave cats there weekly, this week was Birch's week to look after them), and two, go and try to get the Plains on our side. The colony of cats that's leader was killed by Coconut. We all tried to keep her home, but she was determined. I'm certain that she's hiding something, but the more cats we have, the better.
THE SHIP IS GONNA SAIL SOON SHANIVER Anyways, Sage and Furze have a sibling like relationship, and Furze is overwhelmed with dopamine (Sage will also have a moment of clarity thanks to Furze in the future, too!)
