Battle for Dream Island (2010–present, abbreviated BFDI) is an animated web series on YouTube created by jacknjellify, a channel owned by Cary and Michael Huang. A parody of Total Drama and Survivor, the web series takes place in a series of contests where anthropomorphic objects compete for a certain prize. Viewers of this series vote on which object would be eliminated from the show within a given time. The series has gained popularity over the years since its inception and inspired countless parodies collectively known as "object shows."
