Instructions

It's every gamer's worst nightmare: blocks are falling from the sky, and you have to move your character out of the way! Oh, no! How unoriginal of TMBscratch! Actually, his project is a great twist on a classic concept, instead of disappearing, they form towers - which you will sooner or later have to climb to stay alive! PRO TIPS: #1 Strike a balance between the high ground and the low ground - ideally aim for a low-to-medium plateau so you can jump around easily, without having your available reaction time compromised. #2 When towers appear, keep an eye on their height: you can jump about 4 blocks from a standing start, 5 with a bit of a run-up. Make sure you aren't caught on the smaller side! #3 You can dash over a one-block gap (but you knew that one already!) #4 The game lags a bit approaching 3000: I don't know how much of my glitch fix delays that. Just be ready for it.

Description

Thanks to TMBscratch for making this awesome game! Fixed a glitch where the game tries to spawn a falling block on top of a max height tower... Unfortunately, my coding skills are not nearly as good as my gaming skills, so some things I would love to improve on this project I cannot do out of sheer inexperience or naivety. However, I do have ideas for improvements which someone maybe could try and make... plz? (Apologies if someone has done these already) #1 Add cloud highscores. #2 Lag reduction: When a row is entirely furnished with blocks, delete them and set the backdrop to display the row. #3 Change the player colour (I can't do this without making a borin' old square) #4 Make the game infinite! (possible way: delete rows progressively as towers get higher)
