boo!1!! i hope you guys dont think i was abandoning my comic cuz BOOM ok so maybe not the whole prologue but PROGRESS!!!!! ^_^ im mainly working on developing the overall story and chars and whatnot but i thought id treat you guys by giving a sneak peak of the story :3 also i thought it may be fun to open up a lil qna here! basically you ask one of the chars smth and either i or the char with respond!! >:] here are the available chars for questioning: (also tw for mentions of weaponry and violence ^^;) SPOT ,, Spot is the main protagonist of the story. They work in a historical museum that mostly provides knowledge on the legendary Magics that lived long ago. However, Spot isn’t necessarily interested in this topic, merely working at the museum for money. The comic follows Spot going to work, until one day, they have a couple days off. Spot decides to go to a marketplace, where they find Rattle who appears to be selling very strange items, one being an [REDACTED]. Curious, and wanting to donate it to the museum for a little extra money, Spot buys it and takes it home. They accidentally [REDACTED] and from that point on, strange things ensue. - Spot is nonbinary and is a bit shy. Spot usually likes things to go according to plan as well, and thinks more logically. However, Spot is still pretty emotional. They just try not to let these emotions get in the way of their thinking. - Spot is bisexual. - Spots best friend is Popsicle and they like to watch romcoms together. Spot accidentally [REDACTED] Popsicle when she was grieving their mother (who had recently been in a car accident.) - Spot has a tail, which contains small spores. These spores can be shaken out, but only when Spot releases them. If Spot were to die, the spores might be able to revive them. (guys i swear i made spot years before i even heard of objectified plz dont kill me ;-;) - Spot was given [REDACTED] rather than it being passed down genetically. Spot contains [REDACTED]. - Spot’s dream job would be being an author. (read notes and creds for other chars!!!!!!! PLEASE!!) if you see [REDACTED] that means i either deleted that word or sentence because of spoilers. youll figure them out eventually in the story :3 anyways!! lmk your thoughts guys!! and theories encouraged!!!!!! i rlly wanna see what yall think :D (the guy in the images is chester, a cameo created by: @dragoonRPs)
RATTLE ,, Rattle is a main side protagonist in the story. They work in the booth that Spot bought the [REDACTED] from. Rattle was actually given explicit instructions from their boss, Glow, to not sell the [REDACTED]. However, Rattle decided to defy them when the [REDACTED] seemed to “choose” Spot. Rattle appears multiple times throughout the story, but is not an extremely large character. They are important to the story in their own way however, and we do see them. When Rattles boss finds out what Rattle did, they would’ve fired Rattle. However, Rattle was able to use their charm and annoyingness to convince them they should stay an employee. They are one of the very first objects to see Spots [REDACTED] in action. - Rattles pronouns are she/xe/they, though they truly do not care. Rattle is very enthusiastic, and a bit childish. They listen to their heart when making decisions most of the time, and are a very “go with the flow” character. However, if the situation demands it, they can be serious and focus (better, at least). - Rattle is pansexual. - If Rattle was a My Little Pony character, they would probably be a mix of Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash. - Rattle was not given [REDACTED], and does not gain it throughout the story in any way. - Rattle has a large sweet tooth, loving anything sweet. If Rattle was locked in a room full of cotton candy and told not to eat any of it, they would instantly begin to chow down. - Rattle is very clever and street-wise, knowing how to talk to people (especially when trying to get something they want,) and could pick-pocket someone if they wanted too. But they’re too bighearted for that. - Rattle would say they have charm and are charismatic, and that is why they are good at talking to people, when in reality Rattle is cute and a bit annoying, which is why objects often listen to them. GLOW ,, Glow is a main antagonist in the story. However, they are an ANTAGONIST and not a VILLAIN. Glow has a complicated backstory. The reason they are viewed as an antagonist is because they are trying to take the [REDACTED] back from Spot, and are using a bit violent methods to do so. They are Rattle’s boss, and own the market stand. Glow is actually very old, due to being immortal. However, this does not mean that Glow is weak or not prone to injuries. They can get hurt, and the age that they are now is actually considered a young adult in immortal years. Glow is seen and mentioned very often in the story, due to being a major antagonist. Glow and a small other group of Magics live on the streets, currently residing in a secret hide-out. They opened the market store to get some money, and were planning on running it themselves when Glow met Rattle who volunteered. Glow and the rest of the group were very hesitant, and would’ve actually declined, if it weren’t for the fact that they actually needed some employees. Over time, Rattle started to grow on Glow a bit, despite the rest of the group seeing Rattle as “bad news”. - Glow does not have a gender. They can be referred to as anything (i may change this and make glow genderfluid). Glow is very stern and hides away all their emotions. They seem very spiteful and angry on the outside, but can get a bit softer with you once you get to know them. They were once more happy, before the massacre. Now, they are very tired and don’t put up with “shenanigans” well. - Glow is on the ace spectrum. - Glow has a secret soft spot for cats and dogs. They’re not sure why, but they think it’s because they remind them of home. - Glow has grown very fond of their small group of Magics. They’re almost like a family, but Glow still misses their real family. However, ‘I would sacrifice myself for their survival’. - Glow is ridiculously bad at using technology, having only really relied on magic their whole life. However, after spending thousands of years, Glow would say that they are finally getting the hang of it. Sort of. - If Glow had to use a weapon other than magic, they would most likely pick a spear. Glow is actually a pretty skilled in swordsmanship and general weaponry, but they prefer to use their magic rather than using a blade or a bullet. Glow would also only kill when completely necessary, but would happily leave bruises and cuts (and a few broken bones) when in a fight. music: pixel peeker polka by kevin macleod!! code not mine background yes mine B]
