Ughhh I’ve been so unmotivated to work on my MAP part + the next chapter of my comic, I’ve been averaging 3 minutes on here each day (which isnt too bad) but I’ve been kinda busy. I was thinking of a good way to make some dough, ($$$) and I thought of going back to needle felting, ofc making 3D objects uses a lot of wool, time, and effort, and it never turns out very well. My mom suggested that I join a upcoming Business Fair for kids so I could sell stuff i make, and we haven’t signed up yet, (because my mom wants to see what I can make first) and the landscape/paintings with wool I’ve done have impressed me, to the point where I was wondering why I didn’t know I was good(ish) at doing it.
1. The first 2d piece i made. No inspo, just traced out a design that came to mind with a sharpie on the felt. 2. It closer up and in an embroidery loop. Putting it in the loop took way longer than making the actual art itself. 3. Grrrr I tried to add trees in the back (that light color wool separating the field from the hills) but I think the sheep turned out pretty cute :3 4. This design popped into my head one night so I made it :P 5. Another random one that came to mind. It took 2 days… (both days i made it were super duper busy with company) 6. okay, so before I started to needle felting on felt, I made this little blue happy cloud. His name is Steve and I keep him in my purse because why not lol So there ya go. Ive been making these about everyday, and the fair is on the 12 of July, so I’ll be making 20+ more art pieces, I still have to come up with designs for them though… but I’ll be selling all the art (each piece) for 15$ each, so hopefully that’s a good way to make $$$ at the moment.
