Thanks to @reemf for creating the RPG and bio template. The character belongs to me. I created the picture using Pixelmator. Song: "House of Memories" by Panic! At the Disco Backstory: Young, famished and wounded in one eye, Shay had stumbled into the camp, startling the cats of the clan. Although they were suspicious of her strangely colored fur, the medicine cat convinced them to take in the mysterious kit. Shay's life transformed. After demonstrating an affinity for herbs, the newly named Nightpaw became medicine cat apprentice and won over the clan with her healing skills and spirited personality. She especially won over an apprentice named Rainpaw, and the two became quite close. As the apprentices grew older, becoming Nightshade and Rainflight, their friendship turned into a secret romance. Shay felt that her life was perfect. However, when Rainflight was nearly killed in an attack by a rival clan, Nightshade's powers went berserk. Sending out a wordless cry to the forest, she unconsciously ordered the plants to attack. Rival cats screamed as they were raked by thorns and strangled with ivy. The camp was destroyed. Her clanmates watched in horror. After the battle ended, they banished Nightshade not only for her violation of her role as a healer, but for fear of the destruction her powers could cause. Even Rainflight didn't object. Shay has wandered alone ever since, no longer going by her warrior name. Additional Info: Shay communicates with plants, not controls or creates them. After she awakens/animates them, they will usually do what she says, whether that be creating a path through the forest or attacking a foe, because they regard her as a friend. The plant language involves vibrations rather than words, so other cats can't tell what she's saying.
