The subway lights flickered suddenly once the doors finally opened once again, it was now a normal routine, fix the electricity, clean up the floors, and mainly not to get shattered apart and become just like them, Lolip held her flashlight, shaking it slightly, her eyes trailed every corner that awaited the dark, taking a deep breath she continued to walk in a frantic speed until she heard a sound of footsteps come her away, Lolip snapped back and peering her eyes on Finn, Lolip chuckled nervously. “You okay, Lolip?” Finn asked, Lolip stayed quiet before answering with a quiet smile. “Yeah! I’m fine! – Okay!” Lolip kept her attention around her surroundings just to make sure none of those things were near. “Theo said there might not be any of those... uh..” Finn then stayed quiet once his voice trailed off, “things... clones.. whatever you call them right?” he chuckled nervously, trying to bring Lolip’s hopes back up, she finally cracked up a chuckle and lessened her shoulders.. “That’s a relief, am I right?” Lolip said calmly, looking around the place she stared back at Finn. “have you been sleeping a bit better lately? It’s kinda rough sleeping in those chairs at the subway trains.” Lolip started to walk and Finn followed quickly. “Well, I’ve been getting a bit better, at least it’s not sleeping at all!” Finn then said, Lolip nodded and stuffed her flashlight back in her bag. “Having none of those things here are pretty .. calming, but I don’t know, it just feels weird of not having a different clone of you wandering around these rooms!” “Just stick with you’re music and I think you’d be fine.” Lolip then smiled lightly before finding an electric box, the wires scrambled up and teared apart again, seeing the sight made her sigh. “Isn’t it weird that every floor it has these types of problems? Even when we come back it’s the same!” Lolip slightly explained, Finn leaned over. “I can help ya if you want!” Finn offered before Lolip refused, “No, No! its fine! Only if you want!” Lolip smiled at him, Finn chuckled stiffly once he continued to watch Lolip connect the wires back together, as Lolip continued to patch the same colors together in wires, the lights continued to flicker, Finn’s tail shifted, his lazy eye rolled lightly once he tilts his head staring at the light beam pulsate in a rhythm of morse code he could figure out due to the light burning his eye, Finn quickly wiped his eye and looked over to Lolip whom seemed to be focused in the wires. “Hey Lolip...” Finn whispered slightly, he hoped he wasn’t bothering Lolip enough. “You wonder why the lights always flicker? well.. in the floors that don’t have versions of us in it...?” Finn questioned, Lolip’s hands stopped travelling in the bus bar, her two hand still holding on the red wires, quietly, Lolip stared at him and back at the lights.. Lolip hummed. “Gee.... I don’t know myself, It’s like this place is haunted~” Lolip smirked jokingly, Finn looked at her and chuckled. “That’s really funny.” Finn smile softened, continuing to stare at the light that burned his eye slightly, why did he now notice? “Heya folks!” Called out another person walking by, Lolip looked over and smiled. “Oh! Hey Amiri! What’s with the smile?” Lolip asked, Finn waved with a bright smile as usual, Amiri whistled lightly and shrugged. “Well since you two were talking wayy too long, everybody already finished their tasks! You shouldn’t be waiting any longer.. Theodore mighhttt get a bit angry.” Amiri bit her lip nervously, Lolip looked back at the patched up wires, still holding up the red wires. “I’m sure he can wait a bit longer! Lolip’s almost finished anyway..” Finn assured Amiri, “Is Stick with him by any chance? I didn’t see him once I exited the train..” “Oh! I think Stick is with Mercie again, I really don’t know myself..” Amiri nervously said, scrubbing the back of her neck once she spoke, Finn’s smile faded and his eyebrow made his forehead slightly wrinkled. “Mercie?” “Yeah! Mercie!” “..Mkayyy..” Finn slowly nodded, Lolip taped the last red wires together, from a mile away she could hear the train doors peer open, Lolip closed the door of the panel and smiled brightly, then staring at both of them she stayed quiet, Lolip laughed nervously, her hands up on her waists.
“Alright guys! Let’s get out of this place! the train might leave us behind!” Amiri then nodded and Finn looked back at Lolip’s cheerful smile, Finn tried removing the thought of Mercie and Stick, but this was Mercie, he was a burden to society and to his family, it was impossible to ignore the fact Mercie still lived to see another day. Lolip walked by Amiri and Finn, then they followed along her side, travelling back to the subway train that held all the others, Finn walked inside and went to Stick to rub on his fluffy hair, Amiri just walked back to the seat she always sat and continued to write in her journal, Rojava came along and sat besides her, Lolip stretched her arms and walked inside, once she entered she heard a slam of the doors closing, then the rumbles of the train moving along to the next floor they’ll need to fix up again, she hoped there was none of those clones... even if they were monstrous she didn’t bare to shoot one, Lolip’s eyes trailed back to Finn and Stick talking, but she didn’t want to lean into the conversation, it would be nosy of her, finally, the doors reached itself back open, everybody rushed out to finish all their tasks so they can finally skip the floor, Lolip took a deep breath and continued to walk, Finn decided to go out with Stick, Lolip felt he didn’t trust the company of Mercie near Stick, who wouldn’t? Lolip continued to wander around further until stopping in her steps hearing a pair of gunshots, her ear flickered, it was a sign that there were a few of those.. things. in this floor, Lolip grabbed her pocket kn1f3 and walked her way to the sounding of blows from a gun, waving to others who are continuing to fix the electricity, pondering her way she saw Judas, her eyes widened lightly, snooping her way to their back, “Hey Judz..!” Lolip said cheerfully until Judas switched themselves to Lolip, the g*n still in their hands, the smoke continued to blow back into the ceiling and evaporate, their head slightly twitched once they took a deep breathe, their horn lightly flashed yellow but cooled back into a green, “Hi Lolip!!” they exclaimed, quickly wiping the blood off their shirt, but it dried off suddenly, peeling off his clothing. Lolip chuckled lightly. “Well, it’s nice to know those things are back again..” Lolip then said, Judas sighed tiredly. “All these shootings are really making me go.. off today.” Judas scrubbed their head to hopefully try calming down, they just had to hope the medicine was working as promised. “Well, as long as we’re together, we’ll be okay... alright?” Lolip patted their head, Judas lightly smiled and nodded. “Yeah.. you’re right..“ Judas said quietly, Lolip placed her hand back onto her waist, tilting her head back to note them to move out to help the others, Judas walked over the corpse and Lolip walked around it, finally staring at the c0rps3 made her regret staring, her stomach curled but she shook it off and took a deep breath, she shouldn’t act out over someone, even if they were a monster. Judas stayed quiet while Lolip and them walked around, mostly everybody was on the panels which left no space for any further help. Lolip didn’t feel the same anymore, people still think of her as the helper and supporter of the team, but is that really true if she can’t even see that in herself? Lolip stayed quiet before Judas looked at her. “you okay, Lolip?” Judas’s eyes squinted but then widened lightly once Lolip’s eyes trailed at theirs, she chuckled nervously. “Pftt.. of course I am! I’m fine as a sunflower!” Lolip smiled brightly “You sure..? I mean.. all these monsters and stufff... “ Thinking about it made Judas slightly twitch again, Lolip’s smile lightly faded, she scooted over closer to Judas and grabbed her earbuds. “I still have my cellphone.. you can pick a song from it and listen to it you want!” Lolip offered, Judas stared at the cellphone and gawked at the sight of the cellphone and the earbuds, their wings lightly fluttered as he stuffed their ears with the earbuds, scrolling on the cellphone, they picked a song from gorillaz then stuffed the cellphone in their jacked up jeans, Lolip giggled at their excitement, Lolip looked at Judas and before Judas could respond the lights blackened out, it was nothing but the pure void, Lolip grabbed her flashlight and shook it repeatedly to turn it on, Judas quickly nudged near Lolip’s sacred arm, Lolip silently looked around. “huh.. that’s new..” she mumbled, grabbing a mini g*n from her pockets, the silent growling grown once the lights were off, moving at every direction she turned herself to the sudden movement, Judas squinted their eyes to see anything, Lolip stopped breathing, until seeing another her, but the version had empty eyes and a empty jaw, the insides were missing but only crystals and dark ink filled inside her mouth, as the clone lunged at them both Lolip quickly pulled the trigger, the c0rps3 smashing itself against the wall, its legs shivered and its mismatched arm crawled on the ground to help itself stand as if the legs didn’t work properly anymore. As the figure stood itself up, Lolip blew at it’s head, the ink splattered across the room once it turned dismembered, flopping it’s body against the ground, lifeless, the skin started to melt into the wood and travel away, Lolip’s eyes pinned into where the ink traveled to, but she could never figure it out, Judas stayed quiet, Lolip looked over and shook their lightly, “you okay, Judz?” Lolip asked, Judas stayed quiet but only nodded as a response, Lolip started walking in the empty darkness, the flashlight didn’t help as much due to it’s terrible power source left, they traveled back to the subway station, hoping the others were safe, she held her g*n tightly, and Judas continued to look around, the clock ticked every second and minute, and the doors finally opened, the bright light surprising them on how long they’ve been in the dark for and how it felt to be close back to the light again, Lolip walked inside but Judas stopped on the tracks, Lolip stared at them and stayed quiet. “Will we be okay, Lolip?” they asked... Lolip stayed quiet, she didn’t know herself anymore. after everything, she didn’t know anymore. “Of course, Judas. I promise I won’t let anything happen.” Lolip’s smile warmed Judas up, she held her hand out and Judas hesitantly grabbed it, Lolip brought Judas to the a pair of two seats that were free, it was strange.., the others are supposed to be here, Lolip’s eyes peered over to the journal she bought them. “How are you with that book of yours?” she asked, Judas looked at her and smiled cheerfully. “I’m doing good! thank you.. thank you so much for buying this for me!” Judas’s eyes sparkled, their smile always made Lolip fuzzy inside, she wondered if Raptor enjoyed it too, and all the others.. “Don’t thank me, you deserve everything.” Lolip said, Judas stared at her. “You really think so, huh?” Judas asked, before Lolip could answer she heard a barge inside the train station, everybody ran inside, and Rojava fell and scrapped his knee, the hands of the monsters that feared crawled inside of the train, trying to tear the doors open, Lolip quickly held Judas’s arm to lightly hug them, Theodore grabbed the nearest weapon and smashed it against the creatures head, the teeth gnawing into Theodore’s arm, he snatched it away and kicked them back, once those things were shoved away, the last remaining piece of memories of them were charging back inside before the door could close fully, Theodore backed away, his one hand covering the bloody scar that had the bite mark, Finn quickly rushed to him, “Mi Amor are you okay? Gosh you’re bl3#ding way too much!” Finn’s voice collapsed in fear, Theodore chuckled wearily. “My dear, I’m okay, It’s just a scab..--” Theodore was cut of by Finn’s outburst. “You’re worrying me! - Agh! Take this!” Finn opened his mouth and ripped a piece of his sleeve with his sharp teeth, wrapping it around Theodore’s scar, the bl0#d staining into his cut up sleeves, Theodore stayed quiet and allowed it to happen, he chuckled warmly before kissing Finn’s forehead, “I’m fine.. but thank you, my love.” Judas icked and looked away, Lolip stared at the two and her smile widened, she wished to have someone like that, the TV in the middle of the train flickered on, Judas nudged on Lolip’s shoulder to get her attention, Amiri and Rojava peered their heads to the TV, Stick pulled on Finn’s shirt and Finn looked at the TV to see what the news awaited them. “WHAT A SPLENDID JOB YOU DID, EVERYBODY!” the voice said behind the static in the TV, the text was visible on the screen, the voice was cheery and dandy as usual, machinery hands stretched behind the TV, it’s hands wiggled lightly once the voice continued. “TAKE A REST AND GET A NICE NAP!! WE’LL HAVE THE SAME DRILL AS TODAY! THANK YOU FOR YOUR PATIENCE TODAY!” Amiri stared at the screen and her ears pinned down, that voice... it seemed familiar.. too familiar.. yet she can’t remember where she knew that voice.. Rojava stared at her and his face molded itself into a concerned expression. “Ami, you okay..?” Rojava asked, scooting a bit closer to Amiri to lightly rub her shoulder to comfort her, Amiri looked over and smiled faintly, her head pinned lightly a once it bobbled back up to Rojava. “Yeah! I’m fineee.. it’s just that voice.” she shivered, Rojava smiled faintly. “Hey, it’s gonna be alright, okay? I’ll be with you no matter what..” “..Thanks dad.” Amiri yawned, leaning her head on Rojava’s shoulder and finally falling asleep again. Once the lights dimmed, everybody slowly started falling asleep again, they hoped they can survive another day, maybe one day this suffering of hell will end and everything will go back to normal, but that’s just a pathetic dream, right? They’ll just need to wait until the next day and see what’ll await them once again..
