Dominator 2 is the second vehicle in the Dominator series of storm research and tornado interception vehicles. Based on a 2011 GMC Yukon XL, Dominator 2 was constructed by Kevin Barton, who made improvements based on flaws discovered in the Dominator 1's design, including upgraded armor, a more streamlined body, higher ride height, and hydraulic anchoring spikes, all making Dominator 2 a more capable tornado interception vehicle. Dominator 2 is often overshadowed by Dominators 1 and 3, which featured prominently on the Discovery show Storm Chasers and the publicly funded show Tornado Chasers respectively.
