Classic WHO Continued is a series dedicated to speculating alternate events if doctor who was not cancelled back in 1989. And now for something different. back in 1997 during the Rowan Atkinson era a spin off was made focusing on UNIT. Set a few years after the events of Warbound. This would feature UNIT facing an enemy in the monster of the week format. Similar to shows who have that similar formula around this time. although it would be serialized in an overarching plot, featuring an American branch of UNIT known as SCOUT or Science Collective Operations Unit Taskforce and the united nations as a whole who's only option on defeating extraterrestrial threats that are more and more prevalent, were more barbaric than what they claim to be peaceful. though UNIT can be a bit crazy too. this show would have been similar to the premise of Japan's ultraman series, just without ultraman. This spinoff would run from 1997-2000
