It was close to 9 once Lolip sat down beside Theodore, he looked off and stared deeply at the painting he did before he signed up to that terrible school as a janitor, Lolip’s forehead wrinkled by her brows curling to a slight concerning expression “You’ve been acting strange lately..” hummed Lolip, she fidgeted with her fingers. “You okay?” she leans her head to try looking at Theodore, but all he did was flinch away from her staring, Theodore finally looked at Lolip and rolled his eyes lightly, he began poking on his jeans that were slightly messed up by walking on the streets last night. “Yeah, I’m fine, why?” he replied in his harsh tone, Lolip could easily notice that he wasn’t ‘fine’ like he said he was. “I know you’re trying to push me away, Toto.” she then nudged on Theodore’s shoulder to at least try making him spill some answers out. “What happened, was it because I took your car keys last night? I swore I thought they were mine--” Lolip began until Theodore rested his hand on her shoulder to lightly shake her. “No, no It’s not that.” he chuckled lightly, trailing his hand off from her shoulder then back to his lap to gently tap on his jeans. “Well you’ve been acting a bit distant towards the others lately, even though you barely speak with Rojava he can tell you’re acting stranger than usual.” Lolip frowned at the thought of it, Theodore sighed, resting his head on his shoulders, laying on the pure air, sinking himself lightly to the couch. “I don’t understand.” He said, hoping Lolip could take the hint. “Don’t understand what?..” “..never mind,” “No! No! Tell me! I won’t snitch!” Lolip lightly exclaimed, her eyes big with curiosity, leaning herself closer to Theodore to try bugging him out to say it. “Love,” Theodore muttered, “I just.. don’t get it, I never did.” he continued with a exaggerated sigh, “I always keep of thinking worse out of it, and I don’t even know if I’m right!” He held himself once he spoke hastily, Lolip patted his head to try slowing him down with his words. “Hey, hey slow down! You’re going a bit coocoo with what your tryin to say.” Lolip joked before he glanced at her with a serious face expression, Lolip‘s smile quickly faded away. “well..” her voice trailed, “Can you tell me with... more details?” Lolip said nervously. “I don’t really know.. I know so.” Lolip paused in her words, “that sounded weird didn’t it.” she blurted out, Theodore chuckled lightly and nodded, soon enough Lolip joined in with a laugh, spreading her arms and hugging Theodore tightly. “It’s just a small wonder you have right now, Toto.” Lolip then said, Theodore rested his shoulders and then leaned his head on Lolip’s shoulder. “Just a small wonder?” Theodore hummed lightly. “Just a small wonder.” Lolip repeated but with a confident tone she always had. “I’m sure you’ll get through it.” She reassured.
