Chapter six ✉ ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- The girl grunted, trying to stabilize the boat on the force of gravity. She finally sat beside me, her dark, auburn hair spilling below her shoulders. She looked at me with her vivid, glowing green eyes and said "Hello, nice to meet you." I stared at her and spoke up after two minutes of gazing into her hypnotizing eyes. "Pleasure to meet you too, my name is Lucy Granger. What about you?" she looked at the millions of stars, blanketed above us and said "Evangeline Lilybeth Evans. But you can call me "Evelyn" that is what I prefer." she sure did look like an Evelyn. I almost forgot about my new friends. "These are my friends, Liana, Ryanne and Lavender." Lavender spoke first "Evelyn! Its you!" I gave her a confused look. "Oh, sorry, me and Lavender meet over summer! After my foster mum died, I visit the Weasleys every week!" Evelyn exclaimed, patting Lavenders shoulder. Lavender nodded and I smiled at them both. Liana and Ryanne also introduced themselves. The boat rocked gently in the peaceful and twinkling lake, swishing a few times with the delicate current. Soon enough, it halted in front of a giant castle, lighted windows and black shutters. Hagrid's unsteady movement out of the boat nearly sent the small thing crashing into the shore, knocking a few other boats out of the way. He lifted the shorter children out of the boats which seemed easy to him with his huge size and all. Liana hooked the rope that was attached to our boat onto the shore as Ryanne tumbled out first. "Careful there" Hagrid said, lifting her from the ground. The Hogwarts castle shone in the moonlight that dazed everyone as they were being led into it. I was the last one as my shoe got stuck in between the boat and shore. Evelyn turned and helped me out. The hard gravel ground was being crunched under thousands of feet as the pupils made their way to the entrance of the castle..
