Based on Type 40 Productions's what if episode 1985 spelled the beginning of the end for classic who. however what if that 18 month hiatus never happened? many have answered this question, and now it's my turn. this season 23 would have been colin baker's third season as the doctor and Nicola Bryant's final season as Perri. this would have also been Bonnie Langford's first season as Mel. The Titles would have been a bit different than the previous season, with the inclusion of the tardis in the titles, and new music by Dominic Glynn. However, after this season, some changes were to be made. though the show was not under threat of being canceled by the Higher ups in the BBC. so Colin Baker's plan of beating tom baker's 7 year run was on the move
