Madridian forces would continue construction on the trenches and make the, heavily fortified, and artillery shells would be stockpiled. Also did i forget to mention we have portals that can go anywhere (singularium portals) so we can easily reach this land and any land wherever and whenever we want. These trenches when attacked would act like an elastic (rubber) band, it will snap back but not cave in. Madridian air-superiority gen11 jets would be sent in, they would help gain air superiority thus hindering the upolish advance and destroy their ability to conduct any form of air mission in the area. Madrid would also send in CAS and multi-role fighters to bomb the enemy and to force them into submission with the artillery aswell.
