CHAPTER TWO Wolffur pelted past an apprentice and his mentor. “Where are you going? asked the apprentice curiously. “Didn’t you hear the yowling, idiot?” The mentor shot a look at Wolffur. Messystar appeared in the forest a few seconds later. “Frogsplash! Dirtytail! Windyheart! Daisypelt! Shadowclan are in Thunderclan territory!” Four warriors ran into the forest. “Thank you for letting us know, mouse-brain” The mentor hissed under his breath. “Now they know where we are! You have the brain of a flea!” Wolffur flushed, and Messystar shot the mentor a warning glance. A battle cry made the cats turn their heads in fear and anger. About 3 patrols of Shodowclan cats made their way forward, their pelts bristling in the sun. “Thunderclan, attack!” yelled Messystar, flinging himself on top of a gray tom.. Several moments later, yowls filled the forest. Wolffur hissed and leaped at a tortiseshell queen. The ShodowClan she-cat had not lost her strength, evnen though she was about to kit. The queen tried to swipe at Wolffur, but he dodged it and sank his teeth into her swollen stomach. “You monster!” She gasped and threw herself at him, but Wolffur was prepared for the sudden attack. He reared up on his hind legs and kicked at the yowling feline. Wolffur leaped on top of the injured she-cat. She lay still and motionless. Wolffur quickly backed up. She was about to attack. Wolffur started to run away until he heard a yowl. “Help! Help, please!”
