Wʜɪᴄʜ Kɪᴛ ♦︎ I’m applying for the amazing Rivulet <33 Rᴇꜱᴇᴀʀᴄʜ ♦︎ Osteochondrodysplasia (SFOCD) or Scottish Fold Disease is a genetic condition that mostly affects Scottish Fold cats, it causes skeletal deformities and pa1n. It is the result of a mutation that affects cartilage and bone development, it is a progressive condition, meaning it will get worse and worse through Riv’s life. SFOCD is a genetic condition, meaning it is passed down through specific genes. Symptoms are often stuff like refusal to jump or walk, excessive vocalisation while exercise, a limp or strange posture, lameness, skeletal deformities, and decreased joint flexibility. This will affect Riv in things like that she has limited mobility and will likely develop arthritis early on, and have painful, swollen joints. It will effect her ability to do normal thing such as walk and jump. It will also made her snappy and harsh, she’ll lash out violently at times, wanting others to have to suffer the same pain as she had all. The. Time. She’ll hate having to rely on the help of others, and flat out refuse help sometimes. She’ll be bitter about having this condition and dwell gloomily on it quite a lot.
