Welcome to the Moongrove, young one. Pray tell, what business do you have here? Moons after arriving in their new home, the first medicine cat apprentice of each clan (Breezepaw, Treepaw, and Brookpaw) all found themselves called to a mysterious cavern past the Cedarclan border. There they heard a gentle voice beckoning them into a cave, holding a brilliant silver tree and pool. The Moontree: This is the tree used by medicine cats and leaders to speak with starclan. When a cat wishes to speak with starclan, they eat a leaf and fall asleep quickly. The taste of the leaves are dependent on Starclan's mood. The sweeter the leaves, the happier starclan is and the better news to share. The more bitter? The clans are in trouble... The Nightstream: Surrounding the tree and its island is a shallow pool and stream illuminated by the moon. Legend has it that the water from this stream can save the life of any cat who drinks it, but the one who fetches it for them is doomed to perish within a moon. This was only "proven" by happening once: A Creekclan medicine cat was desperate to save his kit, and brought him the water. The kit recovered. but his father died just days later of a mysterious cause.
