Ty the Lifeguard >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> This is my first entry for Sorbet! It's really kind of a bunch of entries in one project to save space and make it easier to access. Ty and his friend, Livvie, are lifeguards at the Splishy Fishy Waterpark. (Name is intentionally stupid because I think it's hilarious.) They're both 16 years old. Livvie hates her job while Ty unironically loves it. He's immature for his age, very silly guy. She acts annoyed but really she finds his childish behavior refreshing compared to everyone else always being so grown up in a kind of condescending way. She's grumpy but really not mean, and protective because he gets bullied a lot. It's really not that serious though, I mean Ty's favorite drink is the Tropical Snoothie from the Sharky Snacky Concession Shack! It's silly. Really his whole story and vibe is just fun and lighthearted. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Design Notes: - his head and left front leg are made of pool water - I changed the gray ears/pointy fluff to green to match the shark, both are the same plastic material - the shark is just a pool toy he molded the water into so that he would have a more solid paw. It shoots water. - his scuba thingy also shoots water when he gets too excited and starts sloshing - any kind of emotion really makes him spash everywhere. If he's sad/crying he just drips a lot. - his big shark tail is great for swimming - he has a whistle and a lifeguard vest - on his right front paw there's another pool toy, but it's waterproof fabric material instead of plastic. I had something like that as a little kid! It's all really sketchy and quick, because properly drawing all that would have taken too long and I would miss the due date. It's just to add the story.
