Treat your nation like it’s real Treat your nation like it’s real. You lead your nation, meaning you are its life or death. Don’t declare war with no reason, or without accounting for casualties. II. No Powerplaying & Realism Powerplay is bad. + Realism is good. You also cannot say something such as “I make 10 missiles and launch them”. You must have industrial capabilities, missile knowledge, and resources first. You can’t just “make” them immediately. Account for timing. Every day in real life is 3 months in the RP. This is a real world RP. III. Deciding Outcomes - Important This is probably one of the most important rules, if not the most important rule. I cannot emphasize this more. I am the host. You are a NATION. You do not control things outside of your power. You do not control what you find, outcomes, or the weather. This goes for warfare as well. You do not decide what another nation does, or who wins/loses unless both sides agree. Do not work off of assumptions as well, this will lead to voids. IV. Convert Actions/Spy Organizations Convert actions are allowed- to an extent. This means that whenever you use Secret RP, you may say something like: “I attack Austria’s trade with…” on a SEPERATE PROJECT. Austria will be notified by me that, yes, an anonymous person has attacked their trade lines. They will only know who this nation is through spies. But, you may not declare war on someone and continually attack them using secret operations, as they have no way to fight back. Convert Actions should be used for trolling, inciting war between other nations, and messing with people without taking the blame. [@Shadow_Panda100 (Hidden Watermark)] You may send spies out to foreign nations, but they have the possibility of being caught. This would allow you a chance to figure out if another nation is using convert actions, but other than this, not do much. V. Co-op Nations I will allow an unlimited number of people to run a nation/union, but will not allow conflicting orders. Conflicting RP between two people in the same nation will result in voided RP, and unless both of you agree on the SAME comment thread on the project, I will not respond to the RP/claim it is voided. VI. Warfare You must declare war/tell the other nation that you are going to war with them. You cannot attack another nation that has the “Inactive” status. Casualties must be accounted for. You do not have infinite soldiers. Realism, Powerplay, and sanity rules go into effect. VII. Inactivity Please notify me about inactivity. You will be given the “Inactive” status, and cannot not be waged war on. Inactivity only counts if it is long term, don’t try and get the inactivity status every time you log off. Your nation’s economy will not be frozen, and may still crash, though it is very unlikely. [@Shadow_Panda100 (Hidden Watermark)] Your government approval and politics will most likely be frozen. You will not be notified of any updates about the RP. Your nation will go under my control, where I will attempt to make you as neutral and unchanged as possible (Unless special conditions are requested) Inactivity goes away after the player RPs again. Please note that you may lose your nation after too much of this. VIII. Alts & AI No Alts! Alts undermine the fun of RPing, as they give a tactical advantage to a singular player. Any suspected alts will be banned from the RP, as well as their main account. I also ask that AI is not used. AI undermines the fun and research needed for good, advanced RP. AI is a tool, not a replacement for RP. You may use AI for light research, but other than this, nothing else. You may NOT just re-phrase AI summaries.
