Remember this day: June 12th, 2016. On that day, a man went into a gay bar/pub, and there was a total massacre. He killed 49 people, and 53 were injured. His name was Omar Mateen. So many people went home that night without their partner, and others rushed to the hospital with them. This was one of the biggest and most devastating shootings, especially for the LGBT+ community.
