you heard that right. I don’t care about billford, I think it’s bad. ok let me explain (RANT WARNING!!! UH OH!!!) also gravity falls and book of bill spoilers While yes I get the way they acted in BOB could be considered gay by some fans, I just don’t really like it. The vibe I get from it feels weird, while it does feel more legal than… other ships cough cough billdip… cough cough Bill is still a trillion years old, and he’s very toxic and manipulative to Ford when they worked together. The only way I would ship it would be one-sided where Bill may have something for Ford but Ford doesn’t have anything for Bill. Otherwise it just feels wrong. I’ve seen lots of people ship it in the fandom which I mean is fine, they can have their opinions but sometimes they act like there was NOTHING toxic about these two which is completely false. Bill manipulated Ford into thinking he needed him, and went to extreme measures to force him to build the portal. Bringing it up again, but the age gap is also extremely strange. While Ford is a legal adult like around 60 methinks, BILL IS A TRILLION YEARS OLD. And while Bill did state he was just a preteen in BOB, but he really could’ve just been sarcastic. Not sure. Lots of things were wrong with this relationship and some people argue “but bill treated it like a breakup!!!11!!1” and “the journal 3 lost pages!!111!!one!!” but that alone doesn’t prove too much, Bill is shown to be mentally unstable and overreacting in various parts of BOB and the website (such as how protective he gets in the weaknesses section automatically thinking we’re going to backstab him, going insane when asking how Stan beat him in the website, giving Ford horrible nightmares and paranoia… you can probably find more, but I don’t wanna list a lot) so him going to a bar once Ford no longer wanted to work with him could be just him overreacting and treating it like a breakup. While I can agree that it could have some proof of the ship being confirmed, considering what Bill’s done to Ford and everything else stated above… does it really make it valid? Bill has been manipulating people for MILLIONS OF YEARS. He is a master of the mind and can turn you against your own mind and body with his words. I honestly don’t know how anyone could see this as an easy ship for Ford, or anyone for Bill. uh anyways that’s it I don’t wanna rant too much, my head hurts. I hope you understand on why I think this ship should burn in a fire.
