Today is officially the 2nd year since i left the US... ever since i left the US my life basically changed. Like in 2022-2023 i was bullied by a couple of Yemeni girls for being "poor". They also told me that if i go to Yemen i'll probably get held hostage for being an American citizen. So when i first came to Yemen i was super scared and i actually believed their nasty lies. Since i live in South Yemen it wasn't too dangerous. Even though i got food poisoning twice and got into a couple of car crashes i'm doing pretty good! Also almost every person ive met are super nice and kind to me like at school everyone's super chill and kind to u. Unlike American schools i actually have real friends for once in my life. In the US every school i went to everyone hated me for being myself and that i was muslim like even the parents would look at me weirdly like i committed a crime or smth... but in Yemen i found nicer, better ppl. There are some ppl who hate me cuz i'm an American citizen or their just racist in general. But overall even with my suffering with poverty, heat, and the fact that my parents enrolled me and my siblings into the hardest school in the governote. I still loved every memory i spent in this country. In June i will be traveling back to US :( and i will have to go back to that horrible school :(. I did miss the US like i miss touching grass and i miss seeing the beautiful blue skys cuz in Yemen it's just a desert with some houses nothing interesting. Also, i live in a warzone and my parents said once we travel back to the US i'm gonna have to go to multiple doctors cuz my parents are worried abt me and my brothers since i have basically inhaled wayyy too much carbon like everyday there's a fire right next to my house and everyday i inhale it. By the way there isn't any masks in my area so i can't buy a mask. And don't think this is stupid I'M NOT RICH I CAN'T AFFORD MANY THINGS. In 2024 i made my scratch acc for fun then i abandoned it until October 13th which is the same day that i made my alt acc and my brothers acc. 2024 was a tough year i spent multiple days at the hospital cuz of stupid food poisoning. I fainted from dehydration. And i nearly died from a car crash :(. But i still survived so ig anything is possible. If ur wondering why i came to Yemen it's because in the US english was my first language and i didn't know any Arabic at all. Like i would beg my mom to make me a sandwich even though she cooked rice. My parents even told me and my siblings that if we don't learn Arabic or eat any of the food my mom cooks then their gonna send us to Yemen. But ig it worked cuz a year later (2023) they ACTUALLY SENT US TO YEMEN. I'm truly grateful for ur support like without Scratch or YT or Disc i'll prob be depressed or lonely well i am lonely but y'know so thanks.
