I didn't believe the rumours I heard until I stepped inside this place. There were a very large amount of huge tanks filled with a golden-ish yellow liquid. What for? I didn't know until a massive, almost dinosaur like shadow swam past. I never found out what that thing was, but I found worse things the more I explored the old laboratory. I kept seeing things in the shadows out of the corner of my eye, but when I looked to see what they were, they had disappeared. This place gave me an unsettled feeling, the creatures, the figures in the shadows, what did the people there do to make this place like this? I wanted to leave, but something was stopping me. Drawing me further into the shadows of this place. I entered a room, it was large and had lots of equipment for experiments. I saw someone in the corner and went to them. But when I saw them properly, I felt sick. They were ł¡fəłə§§ and unmoving, eyes ğøųğəð out and r¡bçªğə çřªçƙəð øpəŋ, øřğªŋ§ §p¡łł¡ŋğ øųţ and błøød everywhere... I couldn't look at them for long. I ran out of the room and collapsed on the floor outside the door, I didn't want to think about what I had just seen, but I couldn't help it. I couldn't help but think, 'If that happened to them. What happened to the others? And what would happen to me?' I got up onto my feet. Then I saw something in the darkest corner. It seemed almost human. But there was something unnatural about it. It was staring at me with a glowing red unblinking eye. It had a mask covering half its face. It smiled, revealing razor-sharp teeth. I felt frightened and I ran. It chased after me, it was quite fast. Then I hit a wall. It was a dead-end. I couldn't go anywhere, and the creature slowed and walked towards me when it realised I had nowhere to run. It laughed a little, in an amused way. Then it spoke, "Looks like you're trapped now, doesn't it?" It had an amused smile on its face as I backed away from it. "You shouldn't move away. Unless you want another chase." I backed away more. Then I took a risk and ran past it. It turned around and smiled more, seeming very amused. "So you did want another chase then? This is going to be fun." It chased after me again. Something fell in front of me, I couldn't go anywhere again. The creature seemed to know what was happening. I tried to move the fallen thing out of the way so I could run again, but it was too heavy. The creature was approaching. It seemed very amused. It was quite close. Almost in my face a little, still smiling in an amused way. It whispered to me, "Don't be scared, I won't bite. Unless I want to." It seemed to be acting quite different to what I've been told about it. It moved one of its arms, revealing a needle filled with a golden-ish yellow liquid instead of a hand. It made a strange clicking noise, and a dragon like creature flew down and sat next to it. The dragon like creature looked at me and licked my face like a dog would. Then it flew away. The creature whispered to me again. "He wants to be friends with you. You seem like the kind of person we'd want to keep around." It moved a little closer to me. It seemed to want something, but I didn't know what. It touched my arm. It was being surprisingly gentle. I relaxed a little without realising. "See? I won't hurt you. I just want to be your 'friend'." It was being a lot more kind than I expected. It decided to gently hug me, making a strange noise, almost like purring. It seemed quite happy around me. I couldn't help but smile a little as I gently hugged it back. It spoke quietly and calmly, "I'm sorry for never telling you my name by the way. I'm NightmareStrike. You may just know me as the creature that hides in the shadows that you used to talk a lot to though." I was surprised. That was who it was? My best friend. I smiled a bit more as I hugged it a bit tighter, happy to know who it was. I closed my eyes. It let go and I was about to start exploring again, but somthing hit me and it all went dark.
