skywardpaw knew his parents didn't mean to leave him. who would leave sky? he was a great cat. ....wasn't he? sure, he had done a few bad things in his life, but hasn't everybody? and the reasons were valid. yes, he did make fun of splishkit, but that was because he was mean to cray. skyward wasn't mean. ....was he? skywardpaw sat next to three graves, two with vines slowly creeping up to cover the make-shift head-stones and one with freshly packed dirt. the remainder of his closest family, all gone too soon. he had hurricane and chasm. and heartstar in a way, but he needed his parents and older sister. was it something he did to make them leave him? no. that was nonsense. no one would ever leave swirl. everyone loves sky. ...right? but if everyone loved him... ... why weren't they here anymore?
