Long ago, before Pyrriah was a name known by any, a war raged. This war, was forged over a story of forbidden love, of crumbling walls, and of angry hearts. The lovers of this story were Sphalerite and Bantigue: Sphalerite, a fiery red, wild and ferocious SkyWing she: Bantigue, an aqua blue, gentle and empathetic SeaWing he. Until one day, Sphalerite announced she was expecting dragonets. As if a switch had been flipped, the war stopped, although people still quietly whispered in the shadows, and so, the 10 tribes were born. As for Sphalerite, Bantigue and their offspring, they disappeared into a forgotten kingdom, leaving their destruction behind them. Never seen again. The tribes: ᴍᴜᴅᴡɪɴɢꜱ: Description: Armored, brown thick scales, sometimes golden, amber, or a brown-orange color. They have flat heads and nostrils on top of their snouts. They are very sturdy. Queen: Applications soon! Abilities: They can hold their breath up for 1 hour. They can blend into mud puddles and breath fire (if warm enough). ꜱᴇᴀᴡɪɴɢꜱ: Description: Blue,green, turquoise, or aquamarine scales. They have webs between their scales and gills on their necks. They also have glow in the dark stripes all over their bodies, used to communicate. Queen: Applications soon! Abilities: They can see in the dark, glow, breath underwater, create huge splashes, and they are excellent swimmers. ʀᴀɪɴᴡɪɴɢꜱ: Description: They have scales that can change into any color in the world, all of their scales on their bodies can do it. They also have prehensile tails. Queen: Queen Moth (@Storm_Sister) Abilities: They can use their scales to camoflauge, they can hang from trees with their tales, and they can spit deadly poison from their fangs. ɴɪɢʜᴛᴡɪɴɢꜱ: Description: They have scales that are purple and black, and scattered silver scales under their wings which can remind others as a night sky with stars. Their tongues are forked. Queen: Queen Comet (@WarriorIvytail) Abilities: Can breath the hottest fire, disappear into the night sky, may be able to read minds and tell the future/prophecies. ꜱᴀɴᴅᴡɪɴɢꜱ: Description: Their scales range from pale gold to light sandy white. They have a long tail with a poisonous barb at the end and forked, black tongues. Queen: Applications soon! Abilities: They can survive a long time without water, they can kill their enemies with their poison tales, and they can breath fire. ɪᴄᴇᴡɪɴɢꜱ: Description: They have silvery, pale blue, pale pink, and ice white colored scales. They have forked blue tongues, rigid claws to grip ice, and tales that end in a whip like formation. Queen: Applications soon! Abilities: They can live in subzero temperatures, and they can hold there breath then exhale a deadly frost breath. The longer they hold it the colder it gets. ʟᴇᴀꜰᴡɪɴɢꜱ: Description: They can be various shades of green and brown. The webbing along their back splits into individual pieces near the base of the tail, which are shaped like leaves. Queen: Queen Caramel (@DogThatDrawsHoomans) Abilities: They can absorb energy from sunlight, similar to RainWings, and are accomplished gardeners. They may possess leafspeak, which allows dragons to talk to plants. ꜱɪʟᴋᴡɪɴɢꜱ: Description: SilkWings have scales like sliced gems and small spines running down their back to the tip of their tails. Their scales appear to be somewhat iridescent, similar to NightWing scales. Queen: Applications soon! Abilities: SilkWings can use their antennae to sense vibrations in the air, and can predict the weather and sense danger. At six years old, SilkWings undergo metamorphosis. They enter a cocoon for about five days, emerging with two pairs of wings and silk glands in their wrists. ʜɪᴠᴇᴡɪɴɢꜱ: Description: HiveWings have slender, strong, sharp, and muscular bodies. They have four thin, clear, and segmented wings that resemble those of wasps, dragonflies, and other insects. Queen: Queen Spotdrop (@Pawzplay) Abilities: HiveWing powers include sharp stingers extending from their wrists or claws, venom in their teeth, claws or stingers that is usually fatal, though it is not dangerous until the dragon is around two years old, a paralyzing toxin known as nerve poison that can immobilize targets in their claws or tail stinger, spraying boiling acid from a stinger on their tails, and emitting a horrible stench said to smell like dead rotting things pickled in sulfur.
