Space, and give this a love for the kittehs! (=^.^=)
I completely agree. Bet you didn't know one of the most common forms of cat abuse is setting them on fire. I remember a cat from when I was really little. If he were still alive, he'd be older than me! We had to put him down because of feline leukemia. Then we got Kobi from a shelter. He had an infection and would go anywhere but the litterbox. My dad got the syringe, and we were going to put him down at home. He had Kobi in his lap, when the phone rang. he let Kobi go. It was the vet, calling to say they had a cure! but it cost to much, so he went to a new owner who absolutely adored him. We took in a pregnant stray, Sofia. It was a miscarriage. Before we could get her spayed,(because we were dealing with Kobi) she was pregnant again. I think three times after the first she was. When her kittens finally lived, we gave them to trusted friends, not shelters. After Kobi left, we got Nigel, a rescue. He and Sofia are safe and happy here, after 4 moves around the country. We had to let Emerson and Remy, two rescues that literally could not get separated or they would pine so much they would go bald, go to a new home, Because our landlord/my uncle said only two cats, and since the brothers couldn't be separated, and Nigel could possibly die from separation anxiety because he loves my mom so much, they went to a new home. But not a shelter. Em and Rem would be two in September. *sniffle*
