He was highly trusted as he once prevented the death of Emperor Derrik Slimemun and Empress Cassiy Slimemun. Eventually he was promoted to personal bodyguard of the family and was treated as such. Lodd was invited to every event of the Slimemun family including the birth of Princess Baby Slimemun, they haven't thought of a name for the newborn and they never would get to give her a proper name... especially after the humans started their attack. The humans annihilated most slime life and the Slimemun family was no exception. Despite trying his hardest, Lodd couldn't hold back the humans and both Emperor and Empress died to the hands of the humans, as well the whole family... Except for Baby. Before the invasion happened, Empress Cassiy forced Lodd to promise her that if he couldn't protect the lives of her and Emperor, he would watch over Baby for the rest of his life, he of course agreed to this. So Lodd went over to Baby's room (which hasn't been found by the humans yet), held her safely in his arms and escaped from the humans. Baby was blissfully unaware about what happened at home, as Lodd became very paranoid about her safety. He hopes that one day Baby will grow up to reestablish the Slimemun family and get a real name, but he isn't sure if any of those two things will happen... ---------------------------------------------------------------- Honestly this reminds me a bit of Bioshock, with Lodd as the Big Daddy and Baby as a Little Sister.
