Today I woke up feeling a lot more rested than usual. I got up and went to the kitchen, but before I could make breakfast, Lily ran up to me. Seeing her always lights up my day, no matter how bad it may be. I picked her up and cradled her in my arms. It had been so long since the last time I embraced her like this, usually I'm caught up with some kind of war. After a few minutes of petting her, I put her back down and got some bread to make some toast. After breakfast, I went to the movie theater, which wasn't very busy. The movie was about a group of eight stick figures fighting against some kind of eldritch monster. I didn't really understand it, but the special effects looked really good. After that I got lunch at Neon Pink's Diner and then went to work. When I got off work, it was nearly 9:00 PM. I was too tired to make dinner, so I just went straight to bed. Even after all I had to sacrifice... I think leaving Darknife was a good choice...
