original design: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1179477544/ Lore (scroll down): In the beginning, the illuminated world of [character in art's name] lived in peace. Originally, there was the Clock, beginning the first day of the first year, ticking one second every decade, marking the time until the end. There was also the 3 "Founders" and "rulers" of the world: The Sun, Star, and Moon. they lived in stasis, their bodies trapped in the heavens, their minds hazy and senseless. Their bodies fueled the sun, stars, and moon, and kept them revolving through the illusory "sky" until the final moments of light and existence. [character in the art's name] was originally the Moon. The Overseer was the One who bestowed the world with its citizens, the One who raised the "sky", and the One who uncovered the Prophecy. THE PROPHECY: AT THE CLOCK'S LAST TOLL ON THE MIDNIGHT OF THE FINAL DECADE, THE WORLD SHALL PLUNGE INTO DARKNESS, DARKNESS NOT EVEN THE THREE MAY PERSIST. ONLY ONE SURVIVOR WILL WAKE UP THAT NEW YEAR'S DAY—IMMORTAL, BURDENED, AND FOREVER COLD. [character in the art's name] opened their eyes on that final day, shackled to the ground, and the snow drifted through the crisp but freezing air. "How could this be? Why am I cast upon the ground, for I am one of the 'Founders'? The prophecy declared the Three would not survive this closing moment..." [character in the art's name] gazed up at the "sky", maybe even a pale glimmer of a star would answer back, but only the disquieting dance of the snowflakes swirled above—the final echoes of a soulless world. Perhaps there was more to the world—the Prophecy, the Overseer, the Clock, the "sky"... Or maybe it was all a lie. An illusion. The glorious days of light, all subdued at the chime of a horologe, leaving one relic of its forgotten time to suffer for all of eternity. How could this be? How does a being born of light find itself shackled to its shadowed land? How could the entirety of a world be so meaningless? At last, as the cold wind murmured through the empty "sky", the truth crept in—silent, heavy, like the final breath of an endless night: “This is the way the world ends— Not with a bang but a whimper.” - T.S. Eliot

Description

ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhh art by @scratchuser234756 lore by @scratchuser234756 magma.com i did this yesterday and posting it now yes i am leaving the character unnamed. if you wanna suggest name ideas comment but i will probably not use them lol :') also i didnt include anything about the character's personality but i think you can "make an educated guess" on how someone might feel being trapped alone in an empty dark world adding quotes to everything in writing makes it sound better #spreadtheworm
