*~♡Luna sat on the hill, sun rays beating on her midnight colored fur. She looked up, tears welling in her eyes. But there weren't sad tears. They were tears of anger. She didn't exactly know /why/ she was angry, she just /was/. She clawed at the ground, wiping away her tears gingerly. "Uhm, hello?" The voice startled Luna, and she whipped around, snarling, claws out. But the face she saw didn't react much, just flashed her a smile that could light up the world. It was Angel. Angel stepped forward, sitting down. "Are you alright?" She asked, with another wary smile. Luna looked away, sniffing. "Yes," she replied, tail twitching in embarrassment at being caught crying. Moments passed, as birds twittered in the distance, when, finally, Angel reached out her paw. "Let's go for a walk" She beckoned, springing up and gazing across the horizon. ****** Luna and Angel sat on the hill, waiting. They watched the sun set, all fear, anger, and everything else melting away. "I'm glad you're my friend" Angel said, looking over at Luna. Luna looked back at her, surprised. "You-you are?" She blinked, bemused. "But..I'm always so harsh to you" Angel laughed, then answered calmly. "You're not a bad cat...just...misunderstood" Moments passed, until finally, Luna said: "Thank you" Angel nodded, as they watched the sun set until it faded to night.*~♡ ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
