Sonic: (Need to find a way out.) -Sonic speeds across the ground- <for context, he can’t run fast in the Backrooms> Sonic: (I’m hardly off where I started!) Sonic: (Why can’t I run fast?) Sonic: (And more importantly..) Sonic: (Am I useless now?) - SHADOW Shadow: (Can’t sprint. Can’t use chaos control. Can’t use air shoes.) -Shadow stomps on the wet carpeted ground- Shadow: (I hate it all.) Shadow: (The wet floors. The dingy yellow.) Shadow: (The shapes I see out of the corner of my eye.) Shadow: (Kind of like….) -flashback to G.U.M HQ- -Past Shadow is overhearing a conversation between some G.U.M soldiers- Man 1: It was horrible. And terrifyingly liminal, from what I’ve heard. Present Shadow: (…could it be?) Man 1: I lost my wife there. Said she was going out. She never came back. Man 2: Lies! Man 1: Think what you want, the Backrooms IS real.
