This is my first Scratch project. (Note from 2018: and therefore terrible) This is a completed game! I will never release the second game because I don't want to continue the series, but: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/119997388/ (The Part 2 Trailer) I am also on FanFiction.net and Flight Rising as well as Deviantart, so I'm busy. (*crosses excuse off of emergency-list-of-excuses-booklet*) Thank you for taking the time to look at this project. If you're commenting, please make it meaningful. If you want to remix, please ask me first and tell me your idea. Read all of this! It's here for a reason! Note: as you go to hunt the rabbit your mentor asks you to hunt, be sure that you have already done everything that you want, because even as there appears to be an arrow going back, it does not take you back. (It's intentional.) 0. *cheers* That's a lot of assets! I'm proud of myself for completing something for once. Oh, right, and also, turn sound to mute, unless you want to listen to endless bird chirping and what sounds like radio static... (not good with sounds) 1. Common knowledge: when you are asked for your name, type only the prefix; for example, Leaf. 2. Common knowledge: when you are asked for your gender, type either "She-cat" or "Tom." Capitalize them. 3. Click on cats to interact with them. 4. Use arrow keys to move. 5. Click on objects to interact with them. (Sleeping is allowed at any time of day, but it doesn't affect your age at all, so don't go sleep over and over again to become an apprentice.) 6. Click on entrances to go in or out. 7. Use "k" or "f" to fight. However, when you are training with another cat, press either "k" or "f" only ONCE. Otherwise, if you press it more than once (or, Starclan forbid, spam it), you will end up training forever. I mean it when I say "forever." 8. To hunt, press spacebar while touching your prey. 9. The only way you can age to an apprentice is to click certain cats. Hint hint: Turtletail! (He's the brownish tom with the light blue eyes.) Look at everything BEFORE you speak to him, otherwise you will miss a minigame that will never be there again. 10. Important: when the leader asks you for your apprentice name, enter only the prefix. 11. There will be a few minigames, sidequests, and bonus scenes, so be sure to click on every single cat. 12. Some cats change what they say according to how far you are in the game, so be aware of that. 13. Some places you can't get to unless you do something or talk to someone. 14. Unfortunately, there are a few bugs, and if something really weird happens, just start over.
Updates: 8-15-16: Publish date. Things you can do in the game: you can walk left and right, talk to every single cat, hunt squirrels, mice, and rabbits, battle train with your friend, watch one apprentice ceremony (for Deathkit and you) and one warrior ceremony (for Cloudpaw, Flowerpaw, Gingerpaw, and Sandpaw), play the Catch the Mouse minigame, and do the cobweb quest assigned to you by Cloudpaw. There are two stories available to you in the elder's den, one about the beginning of the four clans and another one about how he lost part of his tail. In the nursery, the mother of Deathkit gives you a briefing of all the clans. There is also animation for most cats. You can also click on certain herbs in the medicine cat den to give you a brief description of it. 10-02-16: Updated what Fireburst says so it flows a bit smoother. I wanted to make the Froststar and Cloudpaw animations smoother but was too lazy to. 10-08-16: I attempted to fix some bugs... didn't work out. 10-12-16: I changed some of the things the cats tell you. 10-17-16: Now you can see your name on top. I'm now trying to add seasons! Be patient with me. 11-02-16: I will now begin to redraw some of the cats. Cats mentioned or in the game: Ashflame, Deathkit (Deathpaw), you, Goldenriver, Rabbitear, Fireburst, Tidewind, Froststar, Silverpool, Cloudpaw (Cloudflight), Turtletail, Sparrowthroat, Sandpaw (Sandstripe), Thunderstrike, Gingerpaw (Gingerfire), Flowerpaw (Flowerstem), Mousepaw, Cliffhang, Clawtalen (Sunsetsky), Shadowgleam, Tangledbranch, Blackscar, Windstar, Ravenwing, and Blaze. NOTE: I know there are owl sounds in the middle of the day, and something that sounds like static. (That's rain and thunder sounds gone wrong.) I am aware of that. I will fix that later (meaning, never). I know there's an awful lot of radio static sounds. Of course there will be a sequel, since this is only part one (or, there is supposed to be). I know, Deathkit is a terrible name. I'm sorry. There are also a few typos. Please excuse them. I made this all by myself. The drawings and names and characters were by me, the plot was by me, everything in here was made by me with credits to, of course, the six Erins for creating this wonderful book series. The OCs were thought of by me, too, and StormClan, StreamClan, BreezeClan, and LightningClan were thought of by me. If any other game has those names, which I'm pretty sure there will be, then it it purely by incident. The music is not by me, though. I found it on YouTube. They belong to their rightful owners. Song used at the end: Wait For Me (Moby) Villa Remix
