<><><><> Chapter 4 - Lily <><><><> What. Just. Happened. I got really dizzy, and next thing I knew, Grace was collapsed and there was a gutter on the ground. Oh, and I was somehow on the ground. "Wh-wh-what?" I ask. Alex looks really scared, staring at Grace. I look over at my best friend. /Oh no!/ My legs feel like they can't work, so I scoot over to her. "Wha- what happened?!" I ask, looking at her face. I then place my head on her chest, making sure she isn't d3ad. /Thank merlin, she's breathing./ "She- her hands glowed- Grey. Her hands glowed grey, and she saved you. The- the gutter was about to fall on you. A-and then she passed out..." Alex explains. "Oh, Merlin. What do you think happened?" "I don't know!" "Well, we've got to figure something out!" Alex stops talking, points up to the ceiling, and then says, "W-what's that?" I look up. There is some weird misshapen creature, on the ceiling. I can't see most of it, it's mainly a black creature, like a shadow. "You keep messing me up," it growls, "I need to complete my mission." "What mission?!" I yell at it. The shadow seems to grin, "Wouldn't you like to know." It then jumps down, and circles me, like a dog. Alex protects Grace from it. The monster -is that what it is?- surveys me as it paces around me, like a wolf, surveying it's next meal. I hold my wand in my hand, trembling. It then turns towards the door, and right before bounding out, it turns to us and growls, "You haven't seen the last of me," then bounds out. Time seems to slow again. I only feel my heart beat and I feel like I'm floating, somehow disconnected. And then, I black out.
